The School:
Eric G. Lambert School is a K-12 private school of 138 students and 19 teaching units. It is operated by NLHydro – Churchill Falls and follows the prescribed curriculum of the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education.
The Position:
You will teach Grade 7, 8, & 9 English Language Arts, English 2201, English 3201, and Home Economics. You will subscribe to a “students first” philosophy in your practice and believe that collaboration with colleagues and communication with parents are important to student success.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education – (Secondary) . Experience teaching the English curriculum at both the junior and senior high level will be an asset.
- A valid Newfoundland and Labrador Teaching Certificate or eligibility to receive a Newfoundland and Labrador Teaching Certificate (minimum Certificate V preferred)
- Dedication to the development of the whole student & willingness to go above and beyond to meet students’ requirements
- Willingness to be involved in engaging and enriching extracurricular activities with EGLS students
- Other combinations of experience and qualifications may also be considered
